Albow

Albow is a network of sites promoting live performance. We have 7 sites that cover SW England and two international sites in SE Europe.

Each site in the network contains content uploaded by and for its community. Albow then takes that content and shows it wherever in the network it’s relevant, be that locally, nationally or globally.

We sometimes take on other builds like madebyhandonline.com and Inbetween Time or consultation.

Can I get a site like this for my locality?

We are interested in growing our network – as it grows it becomes healthier – but only where there is opportunity to match it with offline networking and development. We partner with agencies (development agencies, Theatres or performance schools) in a particular locality in order that they can drive the community in that area. Having an offline presence in a locality is an important part of the success of our sites.

To find out more about the costs and what’s involved in setting up an albow site in your locality please drop us a line at info [at] albow.com we’ll be happy to talk to you about what’s involved.

Who profits?

Everyone. This project is about social profit not commercial profit. Any economic profit (if that day ever comes) will be reinvested in the network.

Who is “we”?

The network has a steering group made up of the people who manage their locality’s site day-to-day. They work with albow’s director Seth Honnor
